About Food (etc.)

We all need physical sustenance beyond the wonderful mental stimulation provided during the event!

Your conference registration includes lunch and liberal supplies of hot and cold drinks and snacks during the day.

If you are staying at Dartington breakfast is included in your booking.

On the first night, there is a Conference Dinner (more detail coming soon). You can sign up for this when you initially register, or later (form online soon). The Conference Dinner is a sit-down 2-course meal served in the Great Hall for conference delegates and their guests only.

Evening Meal at Dartington

Choices on the Dartington estate include:
The White Hart Bar and Restaurant (a full-service restaurant with a range of choices)

The Roundhouse Café (sandwiches, etc.)
And a new vegetarian café that is currently being built. We don’t yet know what the hours or menu will be.

Elsewhere

Nearby villages all have pubs where you can find food. The two closest that we recommend are The Cott Inn (in Dartington village, within walking distance), and the Sea Trout in Staverton village. This is 5-10 minutes in the car.

Totnes also has a range of pubs, cafés, and small eateries including vegetarian restaurants. Totnes is also 5-10 minutes in a car, and within walking distance if you’re prepared for a brisk 20-minute walk.
